About The Owners

Atlas Benefit Consulting, LLC was founded by Kyle & Tashina Peterson.

Kyle is a disabled US Navy veteran of 8.5 years. He has a passion for helping others, especially his veteran brothers and sisters. Kyle has utilized both the Montgomery GI Bill and the Post 9-11 GI Bill to earn a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Excelsior College and a M.B.A. in Strategic Leadership from the University of Tennessee. While serving aboard the USS Michigan (SSGN 727), he was elected by his peers to be the First-Class Petty Officer Association President where he demonstrated his passion for advocacy. Other notable achievements include winning the Military Excellence Award and Student Excellence Award while completing Nuclear Propulsion Training.

Tashina has served as the Family Readiness Group President and the USS Michigan Ombudsman where she reported directly to the Captain of the ship. She has a degree in Psychology and is gifted in navigating cumbersome government administration. She feels that military service is a sacrifice not only by the service member but by the whole family.
